Richard Kauffman, Principal and Chief Executive Officer, has over 40 years of experience in corporate leadership. Mr. Kauffman has worked in a variety of industries with a focus on finance and operations.
Mr. Kauffman joined Holualoa in 2000. Mr. Kauffman’s previous experience includes assignments as Manager of Corporate Audit for the Tuttle-Click Automotive Group, with dealerships in California and Arizona; Vice President, CFO and Board Member of Factory 2-U, a 40-store discount retailer located in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas; and Manager of Corporate Audit for Campbell Soup Company responsible for worldwide operational and financial audits. Mr. Kauffman began his career with KPMG in Philadelphia, PA.
Mr. Kauffman holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, with Distinction, from Pennsylvania State University and received his CPA license. Mr. Kauffman is a member of the Urban Land Institute and serves on the Board of Directors of the Southern Arizona Leadership Council and various Holualoa portfolio companies.

Steve Lindley, Chief Operating Officer, is engaged in all facets of the company’s operations, including management of the portfolio of national and international properties and working with company leadership in sourcing and capitalizing acquisitions and development.
Steve’s background includes more than 30 years as a successful capital markets broker with leading national real estate service companies including Cushman & Wakefield, Grubb & Ellis, and Trammell Crow. He brings Wall Street experience, starting his career at the New York City headquarters of investment bank Drexel Burnham.
Steve is active in industry and community leadership in Arizona and nationally. He is the incoming Chair of Urban Land Institute Arizona, is on ULI’s national Placemaking council, and is a mentor to young future leaders through ULI Arizona’s Partnership Forum. He is on the board for arts non-profit Artlink and frequently presents on the future of the workplace, placemaking, arts, culture and development. Steve is a graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in Finance.
